What a great Festa! We were very excited to play this show because our Illinois friends have been BEGGING us to come across the border for some time now. We have played Illinois numerous times over the years and now it was time to make an appearance.
We made our way to Rockford Festa Italiana for a two hour show. Tell you what, we were greeted and welcomed with open arms. From the gate guys to the Festa organizers, from the fans to food tents. We were treated with so much grace and respect; it was WONDERFUL!
We prepped for a two hour show and pre-staged all of our gear while we listened to That 70's Band - Chicagoland. They are based out of Rockford, IL. They put on a great show and sounded awesome! Thanks for warming the stage up for us guys and gals!
On to the show… the weather was perfect and the stage was set. We were told that this was the most people the Festa had ever had on a Sunday night. We loved watching the enthusiasm and rocking out in the crowd. Thank you for giving us Wisconsin guys a chance. We had a blast!
PS: the pizza we had after the show was THE BEST! Thank you Famiglia5 for feeding us. Your pizza hit the spot! Go show them some love of Facebook. They are hopefully opening a restaurant soon!
