Utica knows how to party and then some! It was loud. It was fast. And it was FUN! That is what can be said about a good tractor pull.
We spent our time getting there with plenty of time to set up and then to have a band pow-wow. We mostly talked about stage show stuff, what the future of the band looks like, and what we could do to improve upon our playing. We like to reflect on things like that because we rarely have time in our personal lives to gather in one location other than at shows. Band life is a full time job. So is running a household with families. Although we don't think of the later as a full time job. Running a household and spending time with our family is a respite from the organized chaos that a band is and can be. But hey, we thrive on this kind of life. And we wouldn't have it any other way!
This show happened to be show #3 of a four day run. So organized chaos describes this particular event PERFECTLY. People were having a good time. This we know.
Thank you Smithback's for having us back to Utica Fest! You always treat us so kindly and we look forward to always having a good time at your event! And of course thank you to all the people that joined us. We will see you at another Cherry Pie show soon!
