The night was perfect temperature wise but very moist. Who likes the word moist?! Perhaps only to describe cake?! In this case though, it was the air that was moist.
We arrived to a killer stage set up in the middle of a baseball field in Avoca Park. There were even little harvest displays of pumpkins and mums, decorating the stage. Perfect given the time of year and the weather. Now we did mess around with our tv's almost right up to the beginning of our show. We have two giant tv's that support our stage show with things like advertisements, social media info, and videos that Frank put together that play during our set. It has taken countless hours to put all of that stuff together, and tonight, those darn tv's just didn't want to cooperate. We didn't figure it out until a couple of days later that it is a signal issue between the daisy chain. The farther apart the tv's, the less likely BOTH will work. So we went with 'ol one-eyed Willy for the night. It looked funny to us but at least the crowd got the gist of what its supposed to be.
Other than that, we had a blast and we know the crowd did as well. Thank you for having us Avoca!
PS:No pics from the show. Amanda had the night off! Sorry not sorry.
