The rain got us again! Actually, it was a tornado watch that turned into a tornado warning with reports of straight line winds of 80 MPH. All southeastern Wisconsin outdoor events were affected by this storm and we were all warned about it starting early this morning. We always like to think the storms will dissipate or take a hook in another direction… but not this time! The storm was going to be a direct hit. We made the decision to play ASAP and ended around a half hour before we were originally supposed to start. The decision was made to call it and get everyone to exit the grounds.
We packed up just in time for the storm to arrive. The ride home was pretty hairy. Had to slow down significantly because it was so hard to see with the rain and winds. Check this pic out of a shelf cloud as the storm moved into the area…

Andy you are a great photographer.
Thank you Rumble By The River for keeping us and everyone safe. It was the right decision to call the show. We WILL be back in 2026. The show is already booked. Pray for good weather! And thank you to the few brave souls that were willing to stay for the show. We are bummed it was cut after 14 songs.
