We had a BIG show tonight! And the weather didn't make one bit of a difference. We had this show pretty hyped up because we decided to pull out all the bells and whistles. It was filming time for our new promotion video and we had a setlist full of “new” songs that we haven't played in ages. We haven't had a new video in quite a few years and Amanda has updated her arsenal of her professional equipment, so we jumped at the chance to take advantage of this awesome room. And of her top-notch skills of course.
May we say…. The stage set up was awesome! We had hit up owner, Shane, the day before and asked if he could add an 8' catwalk off the front of the stage and he said, NO PROBLEM! Much to our delight, that made the show that much cooler. From the extra room for lighting and special effects, to the spotlight our fine production crew used, y'all had one rare treat for three hours. If you missed the show, go ahead and cry because this was a pretty dang cool show if we may say so.
We also debuted our new Cherry Pie merch for the night. Thanks to everyone that snatched up some of the new stuff. The hoodies were def a popular choice.
All in all, a GREAT time was had. So fun to see so many new and familiar faces out in the crowd. Especially those that were wearing our band shirts. That's always a bonus.
Big thanks to Shane and his crew at Ryder's Roadhouse. The hospitality is always top notch! Can't wait for the next show already.
