What a cool venue! We have played here before, with this band, and then some of us with other bands. Coconut Joe's, Smokin' Joe's… all the names changes but is now know as Smoke On The Water - Okauchee. It has been beautifully remodeled into an event room, with the restaurant upstairs on the ground level with a deck over looking the lake. Super cool setting!
Load in for our stage show however, is not the best, so we hired the full crew for the show which also left the opportunity for an end of the summer photo shoot. We were only missing Dom and J.R. for the pics but they were with us in spirit. Countless stairs and ugh's later, we had loaded in what we could in the area of the stage. We apologize ahead of time to our loyal followers that were expecting our full stage show. We just didn't have the room to use most of our special effects, and the stuff that we could use, set off the alarms in the room so we had to shut that stuff down. Bummer to not be able to provide our full stage and light show but we did our best.
The show was fun! Plenty of familiar faces and a few new ones as well. We hope you ended the show and had a great time with us. Thanks for coming out and getting your fill of Cherry Pie!
