What a ROCKIN' venue! We had the pleasure and privilege of playing a street concert for the fine folks of Prairie Du Chien. Steve from The Blackhawk got permission from the city to shut down the street and to bring in a killer stage for the show. What a treat to play such a great set-up! And we had very comfortable and fall like weather to boot. Load in was around 68 degrees; showtime was 60 degrees; load out was about 50 degrees. It was chilly enough for hoodies and jackets but nice enough to not sweat and freeze our buns off.
Setup this time around included the ability to put the Green Bay Packer game on our tv's. That too was a treat in of itself. We were able to keep it going until about halfway thru the show when for some reason, the channel the game was on disappeared. Wierd. The cell phone service wasn't the best and tethering to said service, was questionable. We made the best of it and enjoyed the lead in the game until we later learned, we LOST. BOO. It's a long football season, and we are confident that this was just a blip on the radar.
The show went great! We played tight and the crowd was definitely in to us. We love that. In fact we thrive on seeing you having a good time, so keep it up!
