Holy awesome event and show! We have much to share about what a great day and time we had with you all! We've never played in Platteville… UNTIL NOW! First off, what a beautiful area. Farms as far as the eye can see, smattered amongst rolling hills. Such a pretty part of the state as you drive on HWY 151 towards the Mississippi River! Secondly, holy cool event! We rolled up to historic downtown 2nd street in the heart of Platteville to see the street blocked off for what we were sure was to be one big party on one big stage.
We enjoyed listening and watching The Boy Band Night out of Chicago while we set up and staged our gear. Remember all of your favorite Backstreet Boys and NSYNC songs and more?! Yup…. they play 'em. Dance moves and all. They sounded great! Nice guys too… hope to run into you sooner than later!
Now on to the show. As the sun went down, the people rolled in. Boy did they roll in…. 2,000-ish?! Maybe more?! Our view from the stage was amazing. We could see about two blocks down 2nd street and there was nothing but people enjoying the show. Singing with us, interacting with us, ALL of it! WE enjoyed every second of it. You gave us one good time!
Thank you to the Platteville Regional Chamber for having us to the Southwest Music Fest. We hope to return in the future because y'all put on one heck of an event. And THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Platteville! You all made what we do for a living a reminder of how lucky we are to do just that. Rock on Platteville!
