The Lure Bar & Grill in Nekoosa is a new bar for us. It is situated on the shores of Lake Petenwell at Barnum Bay Marina. So needless to say we were excited to make the trek “up north” (for us) to play a show. The weather was PERFECTLY comfortable, with a light breeze… BUT THE BUGS! They came out as the sun went down. Load out was pretty bad actually. Most of us ate at least one bug. Yuck!
All in all the show was great. Saw a couple of familiar faces in the crowd along with a couple that drove THREE hours to come see us. Thank you Brittany and Andrew for making the trek. How cool that you made your way to another show to see us!
We will see you again in August Nekoosa for round two! We hope to double the 300 people in attendance. Tell your friends and family to come on out because we won't be up that way again until next year!
