This venue is AMAZING! Deforest has really done a nice job with all the upgrades and new buildings that have been added to Fireman's Park; most notably, THE STAGE! We used to play under a tent on a “rent a stage” but now Deforest has built a mini amphitheater style stage to accommodate their live music acts. Such a treat to play such a great stage!
The night was jam packed with fun. Literally. The Deforest-Windsor Chamber of Commerce told us we set yet another record for park attendance! We believe it! Even Amanda told us it was very difficult to navigate the crowd because there were so many people. She's gotta be out in the thick of it to get those pics and video. Someone has to take one for the team! ;P
The show went off without a hitch and was a lot of fun. Thanks to each and every one of you for coming out to join us for a pre-4th of July celebration with us. And of course, THANK YOU to Heika and Tricia for the hospitality and for having us back. We are most grateful for the opportunity to play your event. It's amazing every single time.
