Ever heard of Rippin' Good cookies?! They're Rippin' Good! This is the place for the cookie factory that is one of the reasons Ripon is famous! Our particular favorite cookies were the Macaroon sandwich cookies and the Mint Creme cookie patties. Sigh. Nothing has come close to how tasty those cookies were. It's too bad they closed up shop and were sold to ConAgra foods about 4 years ago. Double sigh.
ANYWAY, welcome to the Village Green in Ripon! This park gets better and better each year. It really has transformed into a wonderful, open air live music setting. You can bring your lawn chairs or blankets and claim your own little green space for a night of music from the months of June thru September. And its always free which is a bonus! Ripon… you're doing it right!
The show was tons of fun. And we signed a GAZILLION autographs after the show. Tell you what, that rarely happens and we need to make good on getting more pics and the such after the shows.
