The “Back 4 More” Cherry Pie Tour is starting to turn into the “Back 4 Rain” Tour. This day was no different from 5 of our 7 shows so far that have resulted in RAIN in the forecast for our shows. We are starting to associate the word rain with a different four letter word lol. The day started out with rain and happened to stop just in time for our load-in. On our way there, we got a call saying our sound and production crew got stuck in the mud with their truck and trailer. Luckily they got pulled out but with a strong warning to us to not drive the way they went into the grounds. When will all this rain end?! Don't get us wrong… it's GREAT for all the spring plants and to give the earth a good washing, but good gravy… UNCLE!
The show went off pretty great; only a few technical difficulties, the most notable being our CO2 tanks kept firing off at random spots. We trouble shot as much as we could but figured it was a power thing. Not enough power or too much with random power surges… who knows. So forgive us if the show looked a little funny. There are plenty of other things to watch on stage anyway! ;)
Making their debut this show (and fittingly so), were our new Cherry Pie rain ponchos. Our first one sold pretty quickly as the night carried on with a light drizzle. With that being said, if the “Back 4 Rain” Tour theme carries on, we've got you covered! We will have them at every show just in case!
We owe a huge thank you to the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce for having us back once again. This was our 17th year here and its always a great show. We will definitely be back for an 18th time. Woohoo!
