AH yes… the annual tradition of playing Dan Jansen Family Festival was here. Rolling into the City of Greenfield to play a show is always filled with anticipation and excitement. This year the setup of the tent was a little different to allow for a bigger crowd to fit underneath in case of inclement weather. This was very welcomed given the night before when we were flooded out of playing a full show. We heard Dan Jansen Fest had to shut down as well due to the previous nights' storms. So we were hoping to make up for the cancellations on this particular night. We were told we made up for it and then some. This was a RECORD BREAKING crowd for Dan Jansen Family Festival on a Saturday night. EVER. In the whole history of the festival. WOW! Some of our crew walked thru the crowd during the show and yup… PACKED. Inside and outside the tent. What a sight!
Outside of showing up in force, what is really fun for us though, is seeing all you singing at the top of your lungs and just having a good time. What better way to let loose than jammin' to your favorite 80's rock tunes. Lots of familiar and new faces and lots of good times for the show. It really is a treat to soak in the love for the band and the love for live music. We are eternally grateful for the support.
