The day started out with the forecast saying rain, then no rain, then back to rain, then clear… you get the gist. The call was made to go on with the show despite the uncertain forecast. We arrived to some light drizzle and a forecast that showed spotty showers in the area. Closer to show start, people arrived with their lawn chairs and wet weather gear for the just in case factor that we were advertising on social media. The wet weather gear proved to be much needed right around 6PM when we were supposed to start. We got hit HARD with a shelf cloud that had a pretty violent storm behind it. Lightening, sheer winds and sideways rain made for a pretty precarious and dangerous situation. We had to help production take down the back drop as the wind caught it and simultaneously keep the truss stands/tv stands from falling and covering critical equipment. All hands were on deck. Alas, some stuff did get wet enough that electricution was now a risk. Water and electronics don't mix and not all of our stuff is weather “proof”. Every musician knows this nightmare. 

We thank everyone that came out and had every intention of rocking out with us. There will be no rain makeup date for this show unfortunately. Our year is still jam packed with shows, so Mukwonago will have to wait until next year. Hopefully we will be back for a show on such a fine stage! Mother Nature is a fickle woman!
