It's been 9 years since we have played the Waupaca County Fair. We played here in 2015 and 2016 when the main stage acts were over by the Grandstand on the track. Both times we competed with mud and interesting load-ins. At some point since we have played over there, a decision was made to move the stage to the interior of the grounds. Kudos to that! We had a fabulous stage and an area to park all of our trailers, vehicles AND an RV. Plus it keeps people INSIDE the main areas of the fair. We could see the all the fun going on and it makes perfect sense to put the stage where it was. Load in was a straight drive from Gate 4 and we had plenty of room to share with our friends in Driftwood.
Speaking of Driftwood, they opened up for us with an awesome 3 hour set of some of the most popular country songs out there. You guys and gal ROCK! Our very own Frankie Trash even got up and played Brantley Gilbert's “Kick it in the Sticks”. Great tune! Stay tuned for a video of that because you wouldn't believe it otherwise. And since when does Frankie know any country?!
The show was energetic and great all around. Thank you to everyone that joined us and thank you the the Waupaca County Fair for having us back. We sure had a great time with ya!
