A Word from Josh:
It's kind of odd how many places we've played at in Fond du Lac over the years. Tonigh't venue, the Backstage Bar & Grill, is located very near Fat Joe's and the site of the now-defunct Bases Loaded. Although this was Cherry Pie's first time here, I realized when I arrived that I had played here before as a member of Jukebox Heroes back in 1994. It hasn't changed much since then and includes a huge dressing room containing graffiti, knick-knacks and various stains attesting to the venue's long history as a rock club. I like places like that... seedy bars replete with ghosts of heavy metal, booze and STDs of years gone by. I'm glad to still be playing at such places. --Josh
