A Word from Josh:

We live in interesting times. On Wednesday, in one of the most exciting sporting events of all time, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series and yet the world keeps spinning. Next Tuesday we have a Presidential election between a giant douche and a turd sandwich in which, regardless of who wins, the outcome is sure to result in 45% of Americans wanting to move to Canada. Check back in next week's Journal to see if the world will still be spinning then. Anyway, tonight we ventured south to the Racine area where Cubs fans and political junkies alike relaxed to the soothing sounds of Cherry Pie. The upper level of the Route 20 Outhouse was rented out by some friends of mine for a private party of their "social club." That was cool. Meanwhile on the lower level the hoi polloi drank and danced and made merriment and they are wont to do. Monica and Jessica were celebrating birthdays with many of their friends. We aided in their debauchery by assailing their eardrums with 80s Rock the best we know how. And there was much rejoicing.     -Josh
