A Word from Josh:
Playing at Bike Nite is different from other gigs in a few ways. It takes place on a Wednesday on a small, outdoor, uncovered stage and starts early such that the show is almost completely bathed in daylight. As a result of all this, we don't use our light show at all. As I'm sure most of you know, we're pretty proud of the epic light show we've put together and going without it makes us feel kinda... well,... naked. Of course, in many other ways, playing at Bike Nite is a lot like other gigs. A huge crowd came out tonight and responded to our show with the kind of enthusiasm that makes this job so rewarding. It was enough to make us suspect that it's really about the music after all. But, don't worry, we'll continue to play it safe by using our big light show whenever we can. Tonight was a lot of fun. There were a lot of Harley-related promotions along with, of all things, a good old-fashioned hippy drum circle during our break which gave the event the feel of a three-ring circus. It's hard to think of a better way to spend a Wednesday night during a Wisconsin Summer. We're glad to return and do this all over again on August 3.    -Josh
