***SHOW STOPPED DUE TO THREATENING WEATHER***

A Word from Josh:
This was our third year playing as a part of this Friday night series. Last year was a very wet experience but we made the most of it. This year the weather was threatening once again but held off until the show was almost over. The crowd wasn't worried and showed up in droves. Quite notably there were many very young children up near the stage and John had a fun time interacting with them. Most of them seemed to get a charge out of the show and let loose like seasoned rockers. I admit that the old-fashioned gazeebo that we played in and the hundreds of "townfolk in folding chairs on the lawn" made for a setting that is more "quaint" than we are accustomed to, but we made sure that it was a true Pie show without disrupting things too much. This was the first show of this year's concert series so there will be plenty more Friday nights of good music in Ripon to come. If you're not road-tripping to see us somewhere, we encourage you to enjoy the rest of the series.     --Josh
