A Word from Josh:
We all arrived at Mo's early in the morning so that we could complete set-up in time for a big trivia contest Mo's was hosting over the lunch hour. We got a kick out of some of the team names in the contest such as "Hope Springs Attorney" and "Ron Jeremy's Kids." Anyway, having played in Middleton the night before, the band and crew were all pretty tired. Well, except for production assistant Tennessee Love who was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (see last night's journal entry to find out why). We finished setting up and left the building by 11 AM. I headed home and took a nap. On the one hand, having to set up in the morning like this kinda sucks. But on the other hand, it's kinda nice later that night to drive to the venue just a few minutes before showtime and have everything ready to go so that we can just walk on stage and start rocking. And rock we did, and so did hundreds of 80s rock fans who filled up the room and partied with us late into the night. In coordination with Victoria's Secret we were collecting gently used bras at this weekend's shows to be donated to a local woman's shelter. The idea was for the bras to be tossed onto the stage during the show in the grand tradition of 80s Rock. This worked out quite well and many bras were collected for the cause. We'd like to say to those who donated (as well as to the bras themselves) thank you for the support!     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Jerrilynn:
"You guys ROCKED ! :) hope the bras go to great use"

Roland:
"Two words: Blown away !! Great production too, so hat's off to them !!"

Bittersweeteus:
"It's exciting riding the night train of Rock! As you travel through the evening, the strobe lights from CherryPie's stage remind me of the lights from the towns as we pass through them. CherryPie made two stops along these rails of rock, Club Tavern and Mo's Irish Pub. They put on stellar performances at both stops that I'm sure will leave a lasting memory in each and every fan that rocked to these very professional fun-loving guys. And John, who has the best smile and take control attitude, was the engineer of this night train and kept it barreling down those rails as he entertained us with his strong vocals and high-spirited antics. As this long trip of rock ended, it felt great to leave this night train knowing that it was a rocking good time and I can't wait to board this night train of Rock again because CherryPie knows how to make each and every ride enjoyable."
