A Word from Josh:
The Horny Goat Hideaway, for better or worse, is a unique gig for reasons that have been discussed here regarding our previous visits. In most ways, tonight's show was a lot like our last one here. What makes this one stand out is "The Fall." Early in the show, during the last part the song "Still of the Night," John inadvertently stepped in a gap between the stage and the large PA speakers placed in front of the stage (serving as a stage extension) and came crashing down onto those speakers. I did not see it happen as my back was turned at the time but I did hear and feel the vibration from John's heavy duty mic stand hitting the stage. I turned to see him singing the last few lines of the song while sprawled across the speaker array. As the song ended it was apparent that part of the stage had dislodged in the incident so we took about a four minute break while a small crew of volunteers fixed it. John spent much of that time making funny comments and pacing back and forth in an attempt to walk off any injuries he suffered. Indeed, John pushed forward with a typically awesome performance the rest of the night and overall we enjoyed a good show. I couldn't help but notice that, during the second set, there were a lot of people pointing cameras at us, many more than normal. I figured they wanted to catch the next "unplanned event" on video.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Jerrilynn:
"John is sooo darn professional! Gotta love it!!!"

Amber:
"We had a great time. Everything sounded really good! Thanx for "Run To The Hills"! \m/ PS: Watch out for those "occupational hazards"! ;)"

Jamie:
"Some of the HEDDA guys went to see CP Friday night at The Horny Goat. Excellent job on "Run to the Hills" boys. EXCELLENT! Add "Wasted Years" (popular and fast enough) to your set list and you've got Maiden covered. P.S. Beware holes in the stage!"

Bhupi:
"Awesome show, guys!!! Thanks so much for Run to the Hills!!! Please add more Maiden to your set lists. And hats off to John for taking the fall so well."

Bittersweeteus:
"First show of 2013 and it took off pretty good! The CP guys were well prepared and put on a remarkable show. They performed each song with clarity and strength. And even though there was a minor mishap with John, (which I hope you are not to sore from and doing ok), and after John, the Roadie, and others fixed the stage floor, the show continued in fashionable manor as it always does. I had an awesome time from the start of the show to the end! You guys totally rule the night time world of Rock!"
