A Word from Josh:
I've said before that BuBs has one of the best stages to play on. It's the right size, it feels good under our feet and it lends itself well to a good light show. I should also mention the rest of BuBs is pretty sweet too (except for the bathrooms), bars and tables laid out over an expansive area. And when a lot of people fill it up, a show can really start to resemble a pretty big rock concert. Such was the case tonight when die-hard 80s Rock Fans mixed with people who just happened to be attending parties held on the premises to form a substantial crowd that really got our juices flowing. There were times when the action near the stage threatened to distract from the action on the stage. I didn't see any fights, so it's all good. On a technical note, tonight marked the debut of some electronic triggers for Frankie's drum kit. If you didn't notice a difference in his sound... good, that's sort of the idea. The technology enables us to get those kick-ass 80s Rock drum sounds more easily and consistently from show to show (we hope). Of course, it will have no effect on Frankie's stage antics which have always been electrifying. I also debuted a new all-black acoustic guitar. It worked well and sounded good, but I had trouble keeping it in tune during the second set, which I suppose is when people generally don't notice that kind of stuff anyway. Still, I'll try to do better next time. This was our last BuBs show before the Festival season, but we do want to mention that in two weeks we'll be playing a new room just up the road in West Bend. Hopefully, some of you will come help us show the Players Pub what the Cherry Pie experience is all about.     --Josh

"Diary of a Roadie"
By Kevin
After last weeks festivities, this show will be pretty hard to top. However, BuB's draws the late crowd and it did again tonight. Let's roll... [more]

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"Man I really like those 80's classic rock songs! And when you have a front running band like CherryPie who knows how to play and accentuate the riffs in each song, it makes each song more intense and memorable. And then you have John, wearing a fabulous shirt that emphasizes his attitude and who has the best attributes and charisma, sings each song with strong vocals and knows how to keep crowd participation. With an excellent song list and an awesome performance by CherryPie, it turned out to be a crowd pleasing night and everyone was having a fun time partying with the PIE!"
