A Word from Josh:
It has been a tradition for us to play at the Badger Bowl on the night before Independence Day (this year moved to July 2 to avoid going up against Rhythm and Booms). This is admittedly one or our less exciting traditions as most people would rather not go into a bar on a pleasant Summer night. So we are very grateful to the couple hundred people who's love of 80s Rock knows no such bounds and attended tonight's show. We had a bit of fun by playing several songs that we hadn't played in quite a while, made even more fun by the fact that these songs appeared on the set list without any advance notice so we were kinda winging it part of the time. Less fun was the fact that I seemed to be losing my voice over the course of the evening. My rendition of "Ah Leah" sounded like a constipated bullfrog. Fortunately, I'm not the man people are generally paying to hear sing and John was in fine voice as he prowled the stage with the feline sex appeal of a puma on steroids. Indeed, as a group we tend to "bring it" regardless of the circumstances and that's why a throw-away bar gig during festival season is still a lot of fun.     --Josh
