|A Word from Josh:
I'll be honest, it's been a slow bar scene so far this Fall. Tonight, we had every indication to expect a particularly slow night. But, as Chris Berman likes to say, "That's why they play the games." Madison welcomed us back to the Dry Bean in full force with a full house, certainly the biggest crowd since the summer. We ate it up, giving a pretty strong show and feeling darn good about it. We tried a bit of a different format tonight, shortening our first set and lengthening our second. Unfortunately, not everybody in the band has a strong enough bladder to handle a marathon set. Frankie took off for the men's room before "Oh Sherrie" so I tried to fill the space with an extended keyboard solo inspired by an earnest request we received for Van Halen's "Right Now." Having not played the song in several years I ended up butchering it pretty bad, but it did allow Frankie time to get back to the stage in time for his entrance on the next song. But Frankie wasn't done causing trouble. Before the beginning of the encore he started disassembling his drum kit and then walked over the top of it, the stool rolled out from under his feet nearly causing him a major face-plant. Seriously, the rest of us had absolutely no idea what he was trying to accomplish, but it was pretty entertaining nonetheless. Thank you Madison for the great support. I'm sure we'll see most of you again very soon. --Josh

"Great show! It's been a while since I've seen you guys and I still think Shane reminds me of Tracii Guns!!"
Nothing but a good time............:
"Loved the show and the changes made. You guys rock........! Very entertaining and fun. John was awesome..........The whole band was very good. Had a great time and am looking forward to the next time. Until then...........KEEP ON ROCKING!"
"Not a fan of the Bean and the sound there but you guys still managed to rock. Looking to Scatz show with a great soundboard and Firehouse. Middleton will be a rockin!"
"This venue never really appealed to me but it's not bad enough to keep me from seeing my favorite 80's coverband, CherryPie. The anticipation for these CP guys to start the show sometimes gets overwhelming that when they start performing you're so overcharged with outrageous energy that it seems to overtake you. These guys know how to rock us hard because it's their business and they do it well. And John, their gorgeous frontman, who despite feeling not quite up to par, uses his strength and stamina to lead us into a rock'n'roll fantasy where head-banging,dancing, and letting your inhibitions go are required. Once the show is over, hopefully you've burned up all that energy that you built up in the beginning and go home feeling worn out only to recharge yourself so you're ready to party again with CherryPie at the next show you attend."
"Having been the one with the "earnest request" for right now I must say I thought it was great! We come to the shows whenever we can and always leave excited to come back."
