A Word from Josh:
It's Valentine's Day and we are definitely feeling the love. The sweet vibe started early. As we were setting up our equipment a birthday party with an 80s theme was going on in the back room. We could hear them singing Karaoke of what seemed like our entire setlist. As our showtime approached, the room was filling up quite well. This was a welcome sight considering that none-other-than Motley Crue was performing just a couple of miles up the road. Among those early to arrive were a couple of guys that John used to be in a band with and my brother Jason who was visiting from Minnesota. Later on we invited all three of them to perform with us which was a lot of fun. As the first set ended and we left the stage I couldn't help but notice that it had become extremely difficult to get to the other side of the room. I quickly realized that this was because the Motley Crue show had ended and a couple hundred more people came pouring into the Dry Bean. What had started out as a good night had become a spectacular one as we launched into our second set. It was great to see people rocking out all the way to the back of the room as well as some crazy antics going on within a few feet of the stage. The energy level of this crowd was through the roof. Madison was certainly a sweet place to be on Valentine's Day.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

AFH:
"A mysterious distance between a man and a woman.... Happy Valentine's Day boys from a rockin' chick who REALLY wanted to be there :) but was around in spirit! Hope you guys had an AWESOME time. xoxoxo"

Colleen:
"Tackling 94 flights of stairs, spending 3 1/2 hours getting a tattoo, and a Cherry Pie show equals for one looooong day. After being up for close to 24 hours it was exausting but well worth it."

Bittersweeteus:
"Now this venue was packed full of eager, partying fans! They slowly starting pouring in and it was non-stop throughout the show. Once CherryPie took the stage and a little coaxing from John, the dance floor was jammed packed with wild and crazy, rocking fans. CherryPie rocked hard and rocked loud. Pouring out a sound that the walls were straining at the seams. And John, who was high on life and feeding off the adrenaline from the crowd, was like a uncaged animal trying to enjoy the freedom all at once. But he did manage to keep everyone in a rock'n'roll state of mind. Even though there was a time where I got lost in the activities of the night, I really enjoyed myself and was glad to be part of this "Psycho Circus"."
