A Word from Josh:
On a night like this it there are two types of people in the world... those who haul guns into the woods in hopes of bagging a majestic deer and those who party hard at a Cherry Pie show. Yes, this was "Deer-hunter Widows Weekend" which skewed the babe-to-dude ratio in our crowd even further than usual. Indeed, there was quite a bit of cleavage on display on the dance floor which makes for happy campers on stage. The show went pretty well, but it was far from perfect. Most equipment problems are lame, some are embarrassing and others are tragic. But tonight they were downright hilarious. During "Rock of Ages" Frankie's ride cymbal fell off its stand and came crashing down onto the stage right behind John. Frankie later said, "At that point I should have just knocked the entire drum kit over. That would have been so rock!" A much less rock moment came later during the first verse of "Heaven" when I stepped on my guitar cable and it came unplugged; leaving John to sing completely a-cappella for several awkward moments before I could plug myself back in. As festive as tonight was, we are expecting an even better time at our next Rooters show which will take place on New Year's Eve. If you are inclined to ring in the new year with us, you can maximize your fun, save money and stay safe by planning ahead with advance tickets as well as VIP and hotel packages. Talk to anybody on the Rooters staff and they can hook you up.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"To me, Rooters has always represented a rowdy venue but this night it was a so-so one. Maybe it was due to the fact there wasn't a huge turnout, the songlist, or it just was one of those nights that are somewhat serene. CherryPie was phenomal in their performance as they poured out those 80's rock songs. And John, the strong frontman, who at times and for brief moments, steps out of his comfort zone, rocked everyone's world. It was a good night, but in my mind, we needed more hard rocking songs to keep us warm on a cold evening. Also, as I was leaving the bar area and was in the bowling alley, I heard the song, "Crazy" by Aerosmith over the PA system. All I know, is that, I need to learn the lyrics to that song, it's a good one to remember."

Tania:
"I had a Blast! I got hammered and just danced all night long. Cherry Pie Rocks ! All you rockers out there better be at Rooters for New Years !!!! Cherry Pie will be riping it up !! its going to be C R A Z Y!!!!!!!!!!"

Sarah:
"U guys rocked:)"

Debbie & Gary:
"We alway enjoy being up front of the stage and in the crowd, But it was really nice when we went up stairs and looked down at you guys. A lot more eye contact. The pictures came out much better. The birds eye view is the best way to go. XXXXOOOO"
