A Word from Josh:
This has been a summer of discovery for me. I've seen many parts of the state of Wisconsin that I had never seen before. I'm not talking about exotic places far from home, but rather scenic nooks just off the main roads. That's what happens when the main roads get flooded and send us motorists onto various detours. Our trip to Fort Atkinson for this show was this type of adventure. When we arrived at the site we were reminded that the severe weather was not necessarily done with us. About three hours before showtime, stiff winds battered the large tent that we would be playing in and actually caused some damage to a couple of the support poles. But, much like last night's Summerfest show, when we arrived on the stage Mother Nature smiled down upon us and provided excellent conditions for a rock show. Things got started with a set from a fun band called Wicked Lily. Meanwhile hundreds of motorcycles were gathering nearby as their riders headed into the tent for an evening of entertainment. The show went well and the event organizers reported positive results for their charity. It looks like we may be participating in this event again for a third time next year.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"The weather lately sure wants to try and contol our outdoor activities, but it didn't win the battle this time. The show started with an awesome prelude song and went right into a strong songlist. The CherryPie guys played each song with such zeal and finesse. And John, with those piercing blue eyes, gorgeous smile, and outstanding demeanor, sang each song with intensity and was able to keep things revved up until the end. I really enjoyed this show because of it's uniqueness and plus, these guys can take any gloomy day and turn it into a ray of sunshine."

Jill:
"Thank you again so much for playing our event. The weather was for sure strange that day but the skies cleared up when you came. Great show as usual. The entire committee thanks you. Have a great summer!"
