A Word from Josh:
For the second straight year, our Summer Festival Season got off to a great start at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Festival. Wet weather earlier in the day and continued grey skies threatened to put a damper on tonight's event. But the rain stayed away and people came out in droves to turn this show into a spectacular success. Based on last year's show, I was telling everybody that this would be one of the most "family-friendly" gigs of the year. Indeed, this was the case. But little did we realize that it would be young children who would utterly steal the show. It started mid-way through the second set when a youngster named Jason gathered the courage to run up on stage and start jumping around with his hands in the air like he just don't care. I suppose a lot people thought it was pretty cute, but of course it's technically against the rules, so John had put the smack-down on him with a flying body slam... or so it appeared. A few songs later another yung'un named Logan made a similar visit to the stage. But the kid that everybody will be talking about tomorrow was certainly little Josiah who came up during the encore. After getting over his initial shyness, he started showing off some smooth dance moves. Not to be outdone, John challenged him with some pretty sweet moves of his own. Josiah responded to each one with even bolder gyrations that brought the house down. Well, the children are our future and it looks like our future is going to be full of rock stars.     --Josh

Bittersweeteus:
"There's nothing like being outside to experience the fresh air, being surrounded by all ages of patrons, plus the sounds of 80's rock. Who better to perform those rock songs is, CherryPie. They put on a show that can only be described as a hard rockn' hurricane. And John, who has a irresistible charisma and the most appealing fun-loving spirit, showed the patrons, it's not just what he has, it's what he gives them through his performance. Sometimes it's a drive to get to some of these destinations, but it's the thought of All I Want is rock'n'roll that makes it worth the trip to see CherryPie."

c and L:
"The outdoor shows are the best and this one was one of the best. I loved seeing the lttle boys come out in both John and Shane when those boys were on stage. Very entertaining and funny at the same time. Am looking forward to the rest of the summer if this show was any indication what one might expect. John just gets better and better with every show. Keep it up!"
