A Word from Josh:
This week I was faced with the harsh reality that 20 years of headbanging in rock bands can take a toll on one's body. For the last few days a pinched nerve in my neck has been causing a lot of pain in my left arm and was actually starting to compromise the use of my left hand. This made playing the guitar difficult and painful. Fortunately, the modern medical miracles of physical therapy and strong prescription painkillers enabled me to get through the show reasonably well. I must tell you that another thing that helped pull me through was an amazing crowd which included an amazing amount of beautiful women. Or maybe it just seemed that way because of the drugs. But, either way, I don't care; I had a pretty nice time right along with my bandmates and 500 of our closest friends. The show was pretty hot (as far as I could tell) despite a rather anti-climactic beginning... As I stepped to the middle of the stage to play the opening riff of "Slide It In" a friend of mine tossed her purse onto the front of the stage and accidentally hit my pedalboard which completely took away the "edge" from my amp's tone. But when the rest of the band kicked in moments later we became a rock n'roll juggernaut that wouldn't let up for four hours. The amazing support from the hometown crowd really felt great following a couple disappointing shows in recent weeks. Thanks for sharing the love. That really means a lot to this aging rocker.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Jessi:
"Hellllllll YEAH!!! You guys were freaking awesome!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see ya again!!"

Stacie:
"Luv your skin better then you hiting the skins! Let me know when your intown next."

Bittersweeteus:
"The night was getting heated as the natives were getting restless waiting for the CP guys to start. Once they started playing it seemed here, too, that for some reason some of the fans take their time to get closer to the stage. Is it that the band throws off so much energy, the fans are afraid to absorb it all and have one hell of a rockn' hard night. And John, who likes to linger around like a panther, is persistant, and very dominating to the point of being impressive, lead the fans into swirling rockn' hurricanes. I had a great night and would love to see many more of these."

CJ:
"Although there was a little less hairspray and glam than usual, the music was just as HOT as ever! How is it that you guys just keep getting better with every show? You must just love what you do! It definately shows. As I've said before, you guys make me so happy -- thanks for a great time!"
