A Word from Josh:
Jug's is a room that none of us had been to before. I was running late and it was already getting dark when I arrived which just added to the sensation that this club is in the middle of nowhere (I guess it depends from which direction you're coming). Still, many fine folks managed to find it and have a great time with us. It's a beautiful room with a lot of natural wood and stylish decor. Actually, the whole show was a rockin' success in a typically Cherry Pie kinda way, except for on a much smaller scale than usual. The room was filled up pretty good but it probably couldn't hold much more than a couple hundred people. The stage was also small. Thank goodness I didn't hit my head on anything this time, but things were pretty cramped. I noticed a distinct shift in the crowd between the two sets. During the first set most of the people near the stage were men checking us out with that appreciatively rockus yet mildly inhibited attitude that men tend to have around us. During the second set many more women came forward and many of them really let loose. Toward the end most of the stage was lined with very young-looking women who threw themselves into the music with reckless abandon,... that is... until the encore. As we often do, we pulled out an old Iron Maiden classic to finish the night. This managed to clear out a few of the young ladies (one of them was actually shouting for some Tom Petty at this point) which gave room for some of the guys to come back forward to bang heads with us as a final climax to the evening. Rock on!     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Karen:
"It's been a few years since I've been able to get to one of your shows and you guys still rock!! Thanks for the good times and great tunes."

Bittersweeteus:
"The place was renovated very nicely, considering it was 100 years old. It made the atmosphere really comfortable and inviting. You could feel tension in the air as the fans were eagerly waiting for CherryPie to appear on stage. When the CP guys started playing, they put on a performance that only they know how to. John kept the fans intrigued with those rock songs of the 80's that keep some of us forever young. You guys sure do know how to turn a quiet night into a night of hell raising!"

Donavan & Becky:
"Hey guys! It was great seeing you guys again and once again you have rocked our world! It was great talking to you guys before the show, too. Thanks for playing the Trooper!!!!!! See you in Germantown! Up The Irons!"

Chubbs:
"Awesome show! cant wait till you guys are in theresa this summer. come north more often."

JamesKennedy:
"Easily the best 80's cover band I've ever seen! Come up North again and again!"
