A Word from Josh:
You know, we don't play two nights in a row very often. So, we've kinda gotten used to giving high energy performances that really wear us out. So then, when we do have to play a second consecutive night, such as was the case at Coins, there is a danger that we might not be up to the task. Well, hopefully that wasn't the case. In fact, I'm pretty sure it wasn't. This was due in large part to the great hospitality extended to us by bar-owner Mark and his amazing staff. The venue is pretty small and the stage isn't very big either, but these guys made up for it with really big hearts (OK, that was kinda sappy, but true). The crowd that came in for the show was pretty awesome too. It wasn't hard to pack this place and, once the 80s rock got pumpin', the place was a madhouse. There seemed to be a lot of new faces in the audience, including a lot of younger people who knew the words to a lot of the songs we were playing. That was great to see. Also in attendence were many members of the Kenosha Northern Ice, reigning champions of the Women's Professional Football League. Coins is a sponsor of this team and they were out to celebrate their upcoming trip to California where they will try to repeat as the league's champions. That game will take place on November 20, which also happens to be the same night that we return to Kenosha to play at the Brat Stop. Hopefully, we'll get good news from California before the end of that night and we all can celebrate another Northern Ice victory.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"Another great weekend show! The people were ready to party from the time they entered the bar. They welcomed CherryPie with such eagerness, that the band was thunderstruck. The guys performance was high-spirited and high-powered. John, who has the looks, the charm, perserverance, and is great in working the crowd, was so enticing, that the fans couldn't get enough and desired more. At this show, I do have to say, that CherryPie went way beyond their reputation as a kick-ass band."

Tom:
"Go Kenosha Northern Ice!!!"
