A Word from Josh:
It's funny how many times we've played at O'Brien's while snow has been falling outside. I guess it's a tradition. Early on it seemed as if the foul weather was keeping people away, but it turns out that many of them were fashionably late. It never got "packed" but it did get pretty full in a comfortable and fun way. But size was not what this crowd was about. These folks were nuts and, man-for-man / babe-for-babe, they were one of the loudest crowds we've ever had. There were less than 200 people in the room and yet John let them sing the second verse of "Wanted Dead or Alive" (after the drums kick in). That had not happened in a while. There were many other moments in the evening where the crowd knocked our socks off with their boisterous enthusiasm. Apparently, at one point, this included John getting a surprise face full of beer. It's a small stage in a small room and when the crowd packs in toward us, it gets quite intimate. Enough to keep us warm on a lovely snowy night (I think I hear sleighbells). We even got carried away and didn't notice when they turned on all of the bar lights indicating that it was time to finish up. So, we couldn't do an encore. I suppose we left 'em wanting more for the new year. Happy Holidays everybody!     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Kip Swinger:
"Last night's show was better than an after sex cigarette. Seriously."

JacAttack:
"Ah Leah was the best five minutes of my life."

Teri:
"Another great gig! It was nice to go a club that I haven't seen Cherry Pie at before to see what kind of crowd is there. Wild! Me and my brother enjoyed talking to Rico. He is A very cool guy. Kind of sad to see that Cherry Pie won't be doing A New Years gig. But,I'll just have to party harder Dec.27 at Rooters. Hope you enjoyed the treats! Till then love you Pie's Merry Christmas Cherry Pie! And to all Cherry Pie fans Everywhere!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Now this was a night to talk about! Though the place was small, the people were packed in and were rocking hard. And you'ld never now that the cp guys played the night before, because they were still so energized. John looked great as ever and the way he smoothly went from one song to the next, he kept everyone going! And even though the floor was packed and a challenge to dance, I was right up there with the people. But then, I always did like a challenge. I had a fantastic night!"

Anonymous:
"Twas the night of the 13th and all through O'Briens all rockers were rockin including the ladies. The singing was loud the music selection was outstanding....... Oh, did I mention the ladies. This was by far the best show I've seen from the music to the crowd. Rico's percussion solo was some of the best I've ever heard. I look forward to rockin at Rooters Dec. 27th."

Dwight Snake:
"Thanks for a memorable night! Even though O'Briens is tradtionally a smaller crowd, it always seems to become one of the years' highlights !"

A.J. Bauer:
"I finally figured it out... Guest drummer Jeremy is the locksmith for the company where I work. He rocks almost as hard as he locks. Johnny Spandex has nothing on Jeremy in his work trousers! And Jeremy, I lost my desk keys again, stud."

SG:
"I've been to a few shows now, but this is the first time I've heard the band play any Scorpions! Thanks guys! You rock... you know, like hurricanes."
