A Word from Josh:
You gotta love the charm of a small-town Halloween Party. With costumes ranging from cute to raunchy to sloppy to downright sexy, this was a fun night full of a different kind of electricity. The excitement started out pretty gradually, but we were feeling pretty goofy from the outset. I was the only band member to don a costume (well, different than what I normally wear on stage at least). I wore an old Cleveland basketball uniform paying homage to Brad Daugherty. The band and crew ridiculed my pasty legs which virtually matched the bright white shorts I was wearing. For the second set I opted for my more traditional snakeskin pants laced up the side and loose-fitting shiny black & gold shirt. Still wanting to stay in the Halloween costume spirit I experimented in the dressing room with tying a knot in the front of the shirt so that I could be Brittney Spears. It was actually pretty darn funny, but I decided that it was just too disturbing to show in public. By this time in the night the crowd was getting pretty wild, thanks in no small part to the "Home Depot Crew" who, once again, proved to be quite distracting with their dance floor antics. When the official Costume Contest got underway the atmosphere was wonderfully loopy. Band members spent the time making their way around the room and enjoying the festivities. When we returned to the stage our set list had been thrown out the window as we took requests and played whatever we felt like playing. We even improvised a verse of Steel Dragon's "We All Die Young" as part of the encore. John, who didn't know many of the words anyway, stepped aside and let Shane attempt the really high part. Like the whole night in general, it was a lot of fun. The bar treated us really great and we hope to return a little more often in the future.     -Josh

Bittersweeteus:
"What a way to celebrate Halloween! The exhiliration of John and the guys, my friends, and the people at the bar who dressed up. There were some costumes that were great and imaginative and others that were just a bit to eccentric. After the costume contest, the guys did a great job of choosing songs out of the blue for the rest of the night. The night was freaky, but it had it's uniqueness. Like for example, the colorful, shiny confetti. If I had to be one of the judges to vote for the best outfit, I would say that John would win by a long run! I know I go to the shows and write on the journal alot. But in my book, these guys are well worth seeing and writing about."
