A Word from Colleen (United States Navy):
The plans for coming to this show started over a month ago when I was planning my holiday leave schedule. Josh mentioned O'brien's and I pushed a few buttons with Dad and he agreed to put up with a night of incredible music, or noise as he calls it. And what a night it was! For 4/12 hours I got to rock the night away, just like I had every month before joining the military a year ago in September. The band looked and sounded great, the new songs kicked ass, and the crowd rocked every minute of it. I especially enjoyed seeing some of the "Regs" again including Tom, Steph, Maribeth, and Erika, as well as many new faces. When I got there early on, I was begining to think that there might not be a very big crowd. But I was mistaken, 15 minutes prior to show time a crowd began forming near the dance floor and remained the entire night. Although, at the begining of the show there wasn't much dancing but by the 4th or 5th song the crowd was rockin! One of the highlights of the evening was the crowds reaction to "Crazy Train". I've never seen a crowd get ripped into a frenzy that fast in all the shows I've been too. Wow! After last night, I wish I didn't have to go back to Virginia tomorrow, but I made the choice to join the military, and its a decision that I'm very proud of, especially after all the support I've gotten. I'm sure I'll be back again for a show this summer. Till then...Go Navy! Hoorah!     - Colleen
