A Word from Josh:
Another Cherry Pie show where no one was killed. That made it a good night. Oh, I suppose there were some other good things about it, such as the return of old friends Tim Gartzke, Scott Aney, Connie Aney and Ann Fanke. Maribeth Luedtke and Brandi were dancing beginning to end; Lonnie Stinewal & Chris Stinewal showed up bearing birthday gifts for Dave and Erika Kaegler & Lynn Rittberg raised Hell in their own special ways. Others in the crowd of over 200 entertained and tantalized us from the dance floor as we made our way through many of our favorite songs. The show went very smoothly. Of course, not everything was perfect... my hair wasn't puffed up to the sky like it usually is... but, last I checked, no one demanded their money back because of it. At the end of the night, John told that crowd that we wouldn't do an encore until someone donated a bra to our collection (proudly displayed on Nick's drums). Someone in the crowd bravely responded with a suitable undergarment and the show continued. Well, Illusion's is a nice little club, but this time it was cause for a bit of "Cabin Fever" as we look forward to our upcoming festival shows in the Milwaukee area. When we hit some of those larger stages we'll be totally ready to explode, I guarantee it. So grab your asbestos suits and meet me at the fair!!!     - Josh
