A Word from Josh:
Back at Sir Buk's... you know the drill. Things start off a bit slow, we even postpone the start time a few minutes, knowing that things really start to get crazy around midnite. Well, things certainly went true to form as we did our best to rock an intimate early crowd until it had built a critical mass, sufficient enough by the second set for the crowd to rock us right back. Once things get going, no place gets more nuts than Sir Buk's. I think it has to do with all the hip-hop music that the house DJ plays during the band break. It also helps that many of John's friends and family from the area are let out of the asylums for our shows here. Speaking of crazy, we witnessed some activities on the dance floor during the last few songs that shocked even our jaded rock-n-roll sensibilities. I really shouldn't go into detail here (we try to keep it a family show here, at least a little bit). Oddly enough, John was the one member of the band who says he didn't notice the activity in question, although he was standing closest to it. "I was thinking about the songs... the words and the notes," he explained later. "I'm all business. It's all about the show." Well, I guess that's the price you sometimes pay when your the hardest working man in show business. As for the rest of us, we were trying to contain ourselves enough to keep playing at all. Hey Ron, is this place zoned for that kind of stuff?     - Josh
